120 marijuana plants seized in Water Valley

WATER VALLEY, Miss. (WTVA) – Police seized 120 marijuana plants from a home and arrested one man.

Water Valley Police Chief Jason Mangrum confirmed officers seized the plants on Friday, Sept. 18 from a home on Martin Street.

Officers found the plants behind a shed-like building and inside the home.

Marco Gooch, who lives at the home, is accused of manufacturing marijuana.

Mangrum said Gooch cooperated with authorities.

Police continue to investigate.
